Homes That Heal | Transform Your Home Into a Health and Wellness Sanctuary
Welcome to the Homes That Heal podcast! A show that will help you transform your home into a health and wellness sanctuary.
Hi! I am your host, Jen Heller. I am a wellness educator, infrared sauna expert, home health consultant, and your go-to resource for creating a life and home of health and happiness.
I believe life happens for you, not to you. I struggled with being overweight and tried various methods, but nothing worked. I suffered a mild stroke and discovered that I was heavy metal toxic. Through my journey, I not only healed myself but also gained a tremendous amount of knowledge. I discovered game-changing tools and met a ton of incredible people who have honestly changed my life. I transformed my home into the ultimate wellness haven, and it's my passion and purpose to share these stories and experiences with you.
On this show, I will deep dive into how you can improve your health and well-being. I will share the best tools and techniques for optimal wellness, including infrared sauna benefits and how to choose a sauna for your home or business. I will teach you how to harmonize your home with simple feng shui practices and how to create more wealth and abundance with a bagua map. PLUS, I will be answering your frequently asked questions about saunas in "Ask Jen" minisodes.
Every week, you will hear inspiring real-life stories and learn actionable steps you can take to build a healthier life and home. I will interview clients I have coached and experts in various fields. Our conversations will be loaded with insightful ways you can incorporate these practices and tools into your daily wellness wheel.
If you are looking for ways to optimize your health and elevate your home, this show is for you. Get ready for life-changing stories and take action to create YOUR HOME that heals. Subscribe now, and don't miss an episode.

🎙️ Episode 62: Music Therapy for Mobility Improvement
with Brian Harris, Co-Founder & CEO of MedRhythms
Have you ever felt like your body just knew when the beat dropped? There’s a reason for that, and as it turns out, that rhythm can do a whole lot more than get you moving. It can help you heal.
In this week’s episode of Homes That Heal, I sit down with Brian Harris, Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of MedRhythms, to explore how music therapy for stroke recovery and neurological conditions like Parkinson’s is becoming a real, science-backed treatment complete with FDA clearance and clinical results.
We’re talking neuroscience, rhythm, AI, and how Brian went from small-town Maine musician to pioneering a prescription music product that’s helping people walk again.
Whether you’re a caregiver, a stroke survivor, or just a curious wellness nerd, this episode is packed with mind-blowing insights and hope.

[1:05] – What makes music therapeutic, not just enjoyable
[5:50] – Brian’s origin story: one moment that changed everything
